Baked Salmon

Did I mention that I’m a fan of easy recipes?

Place a slab of salmon skin-side-down on a pan that can go into the oven.  Any pan will work: cookie sheet, 9×13 pan, roasting pan…  Put a spoonful of water in with the fish and cover the pan.  If the pan doesn’t have a lid, use foil.  Bake.  I usually cook 1-1/2# fish for 30-35 minutes at 350 degrees; thicker fish takes longer to cook.


  • drizzle fish with lemon juice before baking
  • garnish with lemon slices
