The solution to this dilema is so obvious that I can’t believe I missed it.
Carrying an ICE card is a prudent thing to do. However, I am constantly misplacing mine because I remove it from my wallet. It often ends up in a pants pocket or on my dresser, where it is useless in an away-from-home emergency.
TWO! How obvious is that?! One to remain at all times in my wallet, a copy to shove in my pockets when I don’t want my whole purse. It folds up to the size of two credit-cards, and I have a clear-plastic cover for it. Here is a sample:

There is also supposed to be a way to enter some of this information into my cell phone. My hesitation to that is that if I’m having trouble figuring out how to enter it, will it be available to an emergency worker who needs to access the info?
