Dear Friends:

When I started this blog, part of what I wanted to do was provide answers to some of the frequently asked questions about RA, and talk about living with this disease.  For some reason, many of those posts never got published.  There are over seventy half-finished articles sitting in my draft folder.  I’ll be trying to finish them and get them published here.  If there are specific questions you have, e-mail me and I’ll see what I can do to include them.

Thanks for reading.

  1. Hi Warm Socks,

Glad to know I’m not the only one with unfinished business. ;) I’m looking forward to seeing your articles completed.

    • I’m slowly working on it. With all that’s been going on, I haven’t had as much time for research, and Thanksgiving and Christmas are coming, so I know it won’t all happen instantly. Eventually I’ll get them all finished, though :)

  2. Ditto what “Thrive” said. Also, I love that I found you in the first place because I was searching online for actual warm socks– because cozy feet cheer me up and take my mind of the pain. 8-)

    • Welcome!
Do you knit? Socks are easy to make. If not, try an outdoor store (hunting or hiking). My daughter got some wool/silk socks from Cabelas a few years ago. I was going to provide a link, but it looks like they’re not carrying them any longer. One year my mother found some similar socks (wool/silk) in the hunting department at (gasp) WalMart. I also found a sewing pattern for polar fleece socks. They’re fun and soft. I wear them inside out so as to not be bothered by the seams ;)
