What if autoimmune diseases came with a rule book? In a comment on Wren’s Rheumablog, Laurie says,
Nothing should be allowed to hurt for more than a set amount of time. Should be an RA rule or something….
I agree wholeheartedly! RA needs term limits. In fact, it needs a whole rule book on how to play fair.
- Only one set of joints at a time
- Term limits
- Must respond to DMARDs
- Opponent (patient) is allowed an unlimited number of time-outs
- Penalties: if RA doesn’t play according to the rules, it’s expelled!
