No-Fat Cookies

2 cups rolled oats, uncooked
½ tsp baking soda
¼ tsp salt
½ cup applesauce
½ cup honey
¼ cup raisins, optional

Powder oats in a blender or food processor. Mix with remaining ingredients. Drop heaping spoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 375° F for 9-10 minutes.  Remove to cooling rack.  Makes 2 dozen.

  1. I was craving something baked with pecans this afternoon, so I added pecans and cinnamon to this recipe and otherwise cooked it exactly as printed. Thanks for the great afternoon snack!
